Cancellation without communication and confirmation

Worst online service. I made an online purchase on the 05/07/2022 which was meant to be delivered on the 08/07/2022. I went onto my profile this afternoon to track my order and noticed that my order was cancelled and was I not contacted or informed about the cancellation. How can you cancel an order without communicating it with me, the purchaser? I sent a mail to the complaints department and the reply read that they will only be able to attend to my query after 48 hours. I will never shop here again and will strongly recommend anybody else to refrain from using the online platform as they clearly have no idea on how to manage the online store.
