Laziness,inhumane processes and staff refusing to work

I'm writing this review with the highest level of rage and a heavy heart regarding the lack of professionalism,human empathy and just a sense of entitlement from staff as they treat people that utilise public healthcare like garbage with no sense of their well being.As I'm writing this review my highly expectant wife is currently moved to ward 6,an isolatuon ward used for people with COVID and is mixed with people with COVID in her condition,even when in possession of negative test prior to being admitted on the 26th for an OP that was suppose to take place today as per the doctor's confirmation.as per my wife's account,there is a backlog of surgeries that are not being attended to and I can attest as well as the doctor or staff asked are giving incoherent information to patients in the state that their in,as it is,it seems no one wants to work and patients have to wait until the doctors and nurses decide to,being at their mercy until something happens,now my wife has advised they have been told "they might go to theatre somewhere next week"that means my wife will stay in hospital for a a further 6/7 days until something happens, whereas in between there is actual work that can done but it isn't happening.Im not an expert in health care but it doesn't take a medical qualification to know that you cannot keep pregnant women longer than they should wait for a procedure until it's dire or cannot be helped anymore that's not professionalism that's unnecessary cruelty.I am aware for a more sophisticated care one should go private however we do pay our taxes so have a right to be given if anything standard health care and not be treated like it's a favour so I can't help but ask what has to happen for patients to be taken care of and helped so they can get out,does someone have to die first or lose a baby unnecessary,how do you out pregnant people and mix them with COVID infected patients? The channels available to complain as well are useless,I have called the complains line numerous times both numbers don't work for the hospital (***)so I appeal to the health department of head matron anyone who can please intervene on the horrible things the patients are subjected to all in the name of public hospital,can people on duty start doing their jobs and get things going to have our spouses back home and not rotting in hospital.
