Poor Service and Disregard for Patients at Lephalale Clinic

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the care I received at Lephalale Clinic on August 28, 2024. Despite arriving at 3:45 pm to collect my ARVs, I experienced little to no movement in the queue, and the staff showed a complete disregard for service, dragging out the hours until 7 pm. This is not an isolated incident, as I have witnessed similar behavior during my previous visits, including being ignored while in visible distress and being turned away due to an arbitrary cut-off time.

The situation escalated when a male nurse told us to leave at 6 pm, and a "cleaner" attempted to shut the doors, mocking us and intimidating me when I asked to be let back in. When I announced that I would report the incident, the "cleaner" violently snatched my phone and threatened to hit me. The staff and security made little effort to stop him, and we were left in the dark, mocked, and sneered at before being forced to leave. I request that action be taken to address these serious issues and ensure that patients receive the respect and care they deserve.
