EXTREMELY DESTRUCTIVE AND UNRELIABLE MOVERS, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, DO NOT USE THEM

Leopard Movers arrived 36 hours late even although Charles could not accommodate us on the date we had chosen and HE CHOSE THE DATE.

When Charles sms'd me to say he would be 24 hours late I made it very clear that we could not under any circumstances delay again as we were depending on a friend to transport our dogs to our new home in the Western Cape. They arrived 12 hours late on the second day. They arrived at 18:00 to start loading an interlink with a very large load. We had to leave at 20:00 as we had bookings and our friend had bookings that couldn't be changed a second time. The new owner of the property we were leaving supervised the loading but he said after we left they just fooled around. They loaded for 11 hours because they were taking turns showering, napping and resting. Eventually it started raining with most of our furniture standing in the driveway. They then threw everything into the truck. They blamed the new owner saying he forced them to just throw it in.

When they eventually arrived three days after the date given us by Charles, everything was badly damaged. Our TV cracked and unusable, our DeLonghi Magnifica capuccino maker full of water and electronics damaged. My Whirlpool industrial tumble dryer with a massive dent on the top and bulge on the side. Antique furniture dragged through sand because they were too tired to offload properly. Antique furniture scratched beyond recognition. Antique collectables squashed and scratched. Broom and mop handles broken off. Two wool carpets with holes and backing **********. When I started complaining they literally threw everything that was left to be offloaded into the garage. Golf club sets were tossed under pot plants and heavy garage equipment. Some boxes, 3 pot plants and an empty plant pot never even made it to us.

Charles apologised for the inconvenience, then said he would investigate at some unspecified time, now he sent me an email to say we didn't take all risk insurance and his people are on leave so he can only bring them to us in January to sort this out.

I posted on their facebook page but my post was removed and I was blocked.

If you have already paid a deposit and are bound to these people, take all risk insurance because starting from Charles to the driver Shady to the supervisor to the last loader, these people have no respect for you or your goods. They have no work ethics, they are rotten to the core.

I hugely regret ever having heard of them. Don't be fooled by their facebook page and web presence, all that means is that they employ someone who knows how to use social media.
