Poor Service
<p>I took my Ford Focus in for repairs at Leon's Motors in Rustenburg. I had a warranty repair that needed to be done on my vehicle. Last year November I was informed by the Service Adviser that I need to replace the height adjustment lever on my driver side. I then proceeded to order the new part from the Parts department and was informed the part had been delivered. I took my vehicle in on 21/07/2017. I also reported an issue with my car radio with the Auxi****y Function whereas the browsing function does not work on the USB. I tested this with another USB and the same thing happened. My wife phoned the dealership around 13H50 to find out what the progress of the vehicle was as we have not received any feedback for the whole day. She was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior from the lady that answered the phone. I was contacted around 14H45 by the Service Adviser to ask me where the broken lever was. I told her that I had left in my vehicle and inquired as to why they want it.and was then met with arrogance and informed that the old part is needed otherwise it cannot be a warranty claim. I told her that I was not sure where the old part was, but that I was also not informed by any of the 3 people I have dealt with at the branch that the old part was needed. She then told me that she will get back to me and hung up the phone. After 30min I was phoned back to inform me that part that I had ordered was sent back by the Parts department and that the part will need to be re-ordered and a cost of R1200 will be charged for the new part as I do not have the old broken pice of plastic from the lever. I was also informed that the reason for the USB not working is that my USB drive is full of viruses, I wok as an IT Administrator and one of my daily task is ensuring that my environment is virus free and also i have tested this with a new USB and the same happened so the likely hood of this is impossible. For me as a customer this is not acceptable as the general attitude of the branch is poor and the lack of information provided from them as well is very lacking. I cannot process the fact that and old broken of piece of plastic is so necessary in order for me to get my vehicle fixed that is still under warranty. This is not the first time I have had to report an issue to Ford SA. I would like my lever repaired and my radio sorted out which is still covered by it's manufacturers warranty. Is that so much to ask?? If you can have this resolved for me I would appreciate it. I really enjoy the Ford brand and I am looking to buy a new vehicle but if this is the service that I receive I am reconsidering this.</p>
