Appalling service from Leonard's Jewellers

I had THE WORST experience with Leonard's Jewellers in Montana Park, Pretoria. I handed in 3 rings to be combined and re-plated on the 7th of January 2020. One of these rings was a ring they made in 2009. I also asked for a new valuation on the combined ring after completion for which I was charged an additional fee. The valuation is important for insurance purposes.

I collected the ring on the 24th of January - but the valuation wasn't ready. One of the staff members took down all the details of the ring (carat; gold weight etc) and promised me that we would have the valuation by the next day. Between the 25th of January and today - the 19th of March, we've phoned them 4 times, we've emailed them; we've even taken the ring back just to get the valuation which we've already paid for done. To date, we've received nothing and they've now asked me to (yet again) bring the ring in.

I am appalled and disgusted at the service we received. As this is a small family business it makes bad service all the worse. To compound matters, I have a brand new ring (which I got for Christmas) that I STILL can't wear as I need it to be properly insured first. Now I need to look for another jeweler to assist with the valuation AND try to get my money back for the valuation they can't/won't do!
