Leon Rudman

I recently hired Leon Rudman of The Handyman Home Repairs Port Elizabeth to do some repairs in my house. I was given a quote and a deposit that needed to be paid for material to be purchased. This was given and he started work. Straight off I notice that no materials were being brought to the site. When asked about this I was promised that they would arrive first thing the next morning. This continued each day and I was given different stories each day. He would go from doing the preparation work (breaking down areas to be repaired) from one room to the next without doing any further work that required material. On the Thursday around 12pm (a week later) he had reached a point where there just was nothing more that could be done without material. I was then told they finishing up for the day and would be back first thing Friday morning. On Friday morning I get a message from him telling me he has staff issues and will not be able to come in. However he further tells me that they will work Saturday and Monday and finish the job. He has two labours that work for him and he is telling me that in two days they will complete the following work. Paint the complete house roof. This was the last I saw of him and am now trying to get my deposit back and each day I get promised that it will be paid into my bank account.
