Poor product

It is a know fact that Ghk%@ burns because of copper content. I've been on Leolab product a week and still waiting for the sting. Seems like I wasted good money and time. No or low sting means low content means less effective means a waste of resources. If u can't run with the dogs don't pi@@ like a puppy. My money don't fall out of the sky๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก

Hi Alexis,

It is one of the most common misconceptions with injectable peptides, and it is completely understandable given that most people intuitively associate a physical sensation with a sign that something is happening. However, the logic here runs in the opposite direction from what might be expected.

The stinging or burning sensation at the injection site is not a feature of GHK-Cu's activity. It is not a marker of potency, it is not evidence of the peptide working, and its absence is not evidence of anything being wrong with the product. What causes injection site stinging is entirely separate from what the peptide itself does once it reaches your tissues.

Injection site reactions of this kind โ€” stinging, burning, localised redness, or warmth โ€” are caused by one or more of the following: a local histamine release triggered by mast cells responding to the injection event itself, impurities or manufacturing residues present in the solution, a carrier solution with a pH that deviates from physiological neutral, poorly buffered excipients that irritate the subcutaneous tissue, or a benzyl alcohol concentration that is higher than your tissue responds comfortably to. None of these factors have any relationship to the biological activity of GHK-Cu. They are formulation and manufacturing variables, and they differ between suppliers.

What this means in practice is that a product which consistently produces stinging is not demonstrating its quality โ€” it is demonstrating that something in its formulation is triggering a local immune or tissue response that a better-buffered, cleaner product would not. A preparation that is correctly pH-balanced, properly buffered, and free of manufacturing residues should feel relatively neutral at the injection site. The absence of stinging is therefore not a red flag. It is, if anything, a sign of a more physiologically appropriate formulation.

GHK-Cu's mechanism of action operates entirely at the cellular level โ€” it works through copper-dependent enzymatic pathways, collagen and elastin remodelling, antioxidant gene expression via Nrf2, and tissue repair signalling cascades. None of these processes produce any sensation at the injection site. The peptide does not announce itself with discomfort. Its activity is silent, progressive, and measurable only over weeks through the biological changes it drives in tissue โ€” not through what you feel in the first thirty seconds after injection.

If previous products stung and this one does not, the most accurate interpretation is not that the previous products were better. It is that this formulation is cleaner, better buffered, and causing less unnecessary local tissue irritation. The active peptide content and its downstream biological activity are independent of that sensation entirely.
