LEO submersible pump does mean anything

I bought a Leo submersible pump at Manti on Saturday which was faulty from the beginning. I went back to Manti to return it on Monday. The sales person only told me that I must buy a new pump as that was damage according to Leo. The pump was not started out of the water and didn't work from the beginning so how could I damage it? I personally think it is a trick from Manti and Leo submersible pumps to get out of a warranty. I lost R2 000 in the process. If someone tells you that Leo has good products. Please think twice.
