Never give these people a deposit

I put down a deposit on a vehicle for them to hold for me as I was going through some legal issues with my insurance company and was advised I will get my deposit back if I don’t come right, next thing I know the salesman I was dealing with left the company. They allocated another salesman to me and I was liaising with him and told him about my problems. Now they don’t want to give me my deposit back. I will never deal with such pathetic people again.
