Neglect and poor treatment at the hospital

My mother is admitted at the eThekwini Heart Hospital, her experience and us as a family was very distressing and unacceptable. The nurses at Medical 3 neglected her, giving her minimum attention despite her condition. she was not provided food, if provided it was left there to get cold knowing exactly, she could not move and help herself, the oxygen mask that she had was removed and nobody came to assist to put it back knowing that she could not breath on her own. When the staff was engaged during the visiting hours no one knew what has happened, the Sister in charge was nowhere to be found. the Matron did not even want to speak to us and explain the situation my mom was left to die, and the staff had no remorse and was not even apologetic they were arrogant. Fortunately, when we came to visit, she was still breathing but struggling. We then requested for her to be moved to another ward. she was immediately sent to MICU because her condition had deteriorated badly. Her doctor was called, and he told us that he was not aware of the situation, the staff did not inform him of any challenges the patient had or that her condition deteriorated.
