PLEA FOR ARRANGEMENT BUT ONLY CONSISTENT HARASSMENT

When I discovered on Monday 30 June 2025 that my previous employer had no intention of paying me, even though I had resigned and started another job, I called Lendplus immediately.

I was told that I must call on Friday 4 July 2025, in order to make an arrangement, because I AM getting paid by my new employer at the end of July 2025.

I called yesterday, only to be told I cannot make an arrangement and that I must somehow find money when no salary has been paid.

1. I have reopened my CCMA case against my previous employer and we have a case date of 16 July.

2. I am getting paid at the end of July, and will settle as soon as it enters my account.

3. I haven't been able to pay ANY bills or my rent, either. I am in a massive predicament. I have been put in a terrible situation by the previous employer, but thankfully I started a new job on 1 July.

4. I do not have any friends or family who can pay this for me at present, and that is why I called immediately AND yesterday.

I don't know if any of you know what this is like, but it is very stressful when you have been a good payer and client. I am someone who pays her bills, and on time.

Calling me daily will not help. I cannot constantly answer the phone because I am working to ensure I CAN pay everything and everyone, including you.

Debiting repeatedly will only put me further in the red. I am currently on R-125

Calling me, texting me and threatening me only causes greater anxiety, with nowhere to go. I have been cut off at the knees this month.

I just got off the phone with caller #5, who laughed and smugly told me that the calls will not stop? No matter what I say or do or write?

I have assured them in writing and telephonically that I will pay promptly, the minute my salary is in my account. That is why I called yesterday. But no one wanted to assist me.

Put yourself in my shoes. I am happy to pay them, and looking forward to settling this. But this level of harassment will cost me my mental wellbeing and my new job. Is that the plan? Drive a person to break down because they cannot turn air into money not paid to them?

Sometimes bad employers happen to people and we have to fight for what is ours.

But I have a job, and that matters.

Just stop the harassment. I am happy to pay you as soon as I am paid end July 2025.
