Lendplus poor service

I had previously taken out a loan with this company Lendplus for the amount of R2100. With interest the total I had to pay back was around R2780 or maybe even less but more than R2700, sorry I dont have those amounts with me now. I had a bad incident and my money was ******. I spoke to a Lendplus agent on whatsapp and informed her of my intention to pay. she informed me that I can pay R792. She sent me a link that took me to my bank account and I approved that payment. It did go off and that amount was sent to Lendplus. Following this, a debi check was sent to me on the Lendplus website, which I had to approve the payment in my bank app. This request was for R2790. How can that be even though I paid R792? Thereafter you would expect this company to call and inform of current balance and a further arrangement to pay. But they didnt do that, instead they have been sending me emails about me not paying my account. Today they called me and I spoke to and agent named Madonda or Ndoda her surname. She informed me on the call that even though my balance today (30/04/2026) is R2104, when the debi check will be sent to me it will be for an amount of over R2700 to be paid by the end of 28/05/2026. I asked why and she told me that is because there will be interest added by the 28th of May. Is this fair for someone whos just trying to settle their account after the unfortunate experience of having their money ******?
