Comtplaint: Continued harassment despite full payment
Good day
I am extremely disappointed with the way LenPlus has handled my account.
I made **full payment of the outstanding amount on 17 August 2026 at approximately 11:00**. I immediately provided proof of payment to the collections department by email and also sent the proof via WhatsApp. Despite this, I have received no confirmation that my payment has been received or that my account has been updated.
Instead, I continue to receive repeated calls and SMS messages from LenPlus/services demanding payment, even after I have explained that the debt has been paid and that proof of payment has been provided.
What is particularly concerning is that my **references are also being contacted** regarding this matter, despite me having already settled the outstanding amount and provided proof of payment. I find this completely unacceptable and distressing.
Today I spoke to a lady from the services, and despite calmly explaining that I had already paid and had sent proof of payment, I was treated rudely and my concerns were not properly addressed.
I expect LenPlus to:
1. Immediately verify the proof of payment I have submitted. 2. Update my account to reflect that the outstanding debt has been paid in full. 3. Stop all collection calls, SMSes and other demands for payment. 4. Stop contacting my references regarding an account that has already been settled. 5. Provide written confirmation that my payment has been received and that the matter is closed. 6. Investigate the conduct of the staff member who dealt with me today.
I have made every effort to resolve this matter responsibly and have supp**** proof of payment. I should not have to continue defending myself against collection attempts for a debt that I have already paid.
I am requesting urgent intervention and a written response confirming that this matter has been resolved.
