Worst estate Agency!!!
This is the worst estate agency I’ve come across thus far. From the maintenance guy - Joel Dos Santos to their manager - Lena Ferreira. I rented a flat through their agency and when me moved out we were told the maintenance for the inspection would cost R7000! How painting a few walls and cleaning a shower glass door amounted to R7000 is beyond me. On moving in, R16 638 was paid, that included rent deposits, utility deposit and other costs for the drawing up of contracts etc etc; only to be told that I owe R26 because the deposit was not enough to cover everything! I’m so upset. No one is helpful. Joel is patronising and is surprised when I flip out on him, Lena is the manager but no help was received from her either. My advice is that if you want to rent a property, do not do it through them because YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK!!
As you are aware, as per your Lease Agreement and your Inspection Report, the property was to be handed over in the condition it was in when the keys were handed to you initially. Upon the outgoing inspection, the walls needed to be painted, in regard to the painting, when painting needs to be done, it cannot only be the 1 wall, the whole room is required to be painted, for the owner to receive the unit in the condition it was handed over to you in.
