********* and unfair treatment from a so called "exclusive" estate agency

On the day they advertised the property to rent which was 3 months before the occupation date, I made an enquiry and was informed the place was no longer available. I politely asked them to remove the ad online which they didn't. I reported the ad to private property and it was removed. A week later, the ad is on property 24 so i reported it as well. Property 24 said the agency confirmed the property is available. I sent an email asking what if there is any ************** used to select their clients and received a call apologizing for the "misunderstanding." They sent me forms to complete for vetting which i did and sent together with the supporting documents. A few days later, i received a proforma invoice in an email stating an agent called Bryan will contact me for viewing. Bryan also contacted me saying the current tenants need 2 weeks to prepare for the viewing. After the 2 weeks, i received a call from the office asking about the proforma invoice payment. I told them i cannot pay without viewing so they said they will assign someone else to take me for the viewing since Bryan was on leave.

Little did i know they will assign a very rude guy called Benedict. He contacted me on a Tuesday saying he is taking clients to view the next day at 1pm. I told him i cannot leave work to view and was available in the evenings or on weekends. He informed me he cannot wait for the Saturday. I tried to explain it wasn't my fault i haven't viewed in 2 weeks. He later said he did not take the clients through and will take me on Saturday.

On the day of the viewing I asked for a change of time, he didn't budge and told me he had other clients at the same time as mine. I went to view with the other potentials and minutes after leaving, he sends me a text claiming the couple has made the payment. I do not mind being beaten to the property but when was the couple vetted and when were they sent the invoice? What was the point of me driving all the way there if he knew the couple planned to make the payment immediately. After struggling so much with the agency for that one property, they still treat me like ****. They gave me the runaround knowing very well they don't want me there. I am very disgusted and would never consider any property listed by this agent in future
