Abhorrent service from Lencar

Lencar is the WORST estate agency I have ever dealt with bar none.

They add stupid fees to their invoice (lease agreement fees and inspection fees), which should be standard.

I completed the application, submitted all supporting documents, paid a holding deposit on the unit requesting a day to allow me to have funds released for the balance of the deposit. I was hounded by the agent (Tony) to pay the balance which I was waiting to clear, only to receive a WhatsApp message that they’ve given the unit away.

We are talking about 2 days here.

When requesting that the deposit I paid yesterday (with proof of payment attached, with a verification sms sent to the agent’s own phone) get paid back to me immediately this afternoon, Tony sends a message to say that the “accounts department have not seen my deposit”.

So I must release funds to them same day, but within two days they can’t seem to track a payment when they are asked to pay back the money.

What a bunch of unprofessional clowns
