Lekwa municipality is failing us

I have been phoning the Lekwa municipality since last night pertaining electricity cut no one has answers,Now again i called to ask when will we have the power back today 18 June they just told me that the people that work with the electricity have knocked off as the Community is burning tires and stones on the roads are Blocked and they have switch off their phones The questions stands are we at the heart of our municipality and their employees, ain't they supposed to have people on standby that have to service the community in case of emergency?,we have been provided with the schedule that have time and sections of how the loadshedding will affect us.LEKWA MUNICIPALITY DOES NOT adhere with the schedule we as the community suffer and the Municipality ,HOD they just don't care .How are we supposed to survive as the COMMUNITY in this Pandemic the Country is facing covid 19.We are told to stay at home to be safe and then how are we supposed to survive without power for more than 2 days ,even in a day where there is power its on and off constantly there appliances that are now broken .President address the Nation for some of us can't be part of the Nation Address ,sit and watch or listen to the President in the DARK N COLD

WE NEED INTERVENTION AS THE COMMUNITY HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT THE VIRUS THAT NEEDS US TO STAY AT HOME AND KEEP WARM IN THE DARK ,RAIN ,COLD??
