You don't get what you booked!!
<p>Website does not have all the details:</p> <p>My parents drove to Cape Town and stayed over in Beaufort West. They traveled along with my brother his wife and 2 kids (2 and 8). When they got there, there was no electricity...my mother had to inform lekkeslaap of this. Surely they should know? <br /><br />When they drove back they were going to stay at Gariep Dam, they booked a chalet even saw the pictures etc. on lekkeslaap.co.za but when they got there, lekkerslaap had booked a campsite!!! They are refusing to pay back the deposit as they said that is what they quoted for, but my parents never received the quotation!!! They only booked on the webiste and had to pay! <br /><br />I also have friends that had the same issues!! Rather use Airbnb! </p>

It seems there might have been some misunderstandings with regards to the two bookings your parents made. Their first booking was for a self-catering establishment in Beaufort-West, this establishment is advertised on our website as having only "Green-energy" in the form of solar power and a gas stoves. Thus there is no direct Eskom or any other form of electricity on the property. This may have been overlooked during booking process and we apologise if it resulted in any inconvenience.
Their second booking was made at a lodge in Gariep Dam that offers accommodation in chalets and camping sites. The booking request we received was for 3 camp sites, and therefore we sent your parents a quotation as requested. It stated on the quotation that the booking was for 3 camp sites, after which your parents proceeded to confirm and make payment for the booking.
We tried to request a refund from the establishments, however seeing as both accommodations offered your parents what was requested via our websites, they were unfortunately not eligible for a refund.
