STAY AWAY FROM CYNTHIA'S COUNTRY STAY - LS-4****B

I personally have never had a bad experience with booking through lekkeslaap. Website is user friendly and staff very helpful and places we stayed you got excatly what was on the website. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with the place that we booked through LS called Cynthias stay in Hartebee****rt. On arrival they only told us that the power has been off for the whole week. We booked during the week so they could have warned us beforehand. Even though the generator was noisy we felt better when they at least had a generator running for us to keep our meat, milk ect cold. Later the evening we tried making contact with the owners to switch of the generators because we needed to go to sleep because the next day we were going to be 4 hours on the road. We could not get hold of them and phoned LS to see if they could do something. After 12 midnight eventually they switch off the generators. My question is does LS not check with these places to see if they do have everything that they advertise? This is false advertising and I should be given my money back! We did not shower because the water was cold. The next day we got up and brushed our teeth and went on the road to get away from this bad experience. Will I be getting a refund for this or should I take it further?
