RESCUE IN A CRISIS

Lekkerslaap has always given us excellent service. This time was no different. The accommodation advertised at Frida's Gastehuis, Hopetown, was excellent and good value for money, but it started with a hiccup. When we arrived, gates were all closed and there was no answer to a phone call. We tried again, then phoned LS. Within minutes they came back and said that Frida, the owner, had just been admitted to hospital in Kimberley for a serious condition. It took some organising to contact the caretaker and domestic to open up, but all ended well. A drugged Frida phoned from hospital to apologise and ensure that all was in order. She phoned a few times, again to apologise, and even offered us free accommodation next time. Thank you to Frida as a kind hostess, and thank you to LS for their professional service.
