No follow-up

I enquired about a booking around 10.30 Friday morning 7 October. I got the initial email saying my request was received and a question was answered soon enough. I received no confirmation or unavailability notice though all day long and phoned at 16.25. I was told an enquiry will be made and I will be contacted again. Now, 19.12 there is still no email or telephonic reply. So what now? This is a late booking for arrival 8 October.
