Lack of feedback causing stress and inconvenience

I had a booking confirmed with you for Man Heim Estate for 23 March and e-mailed you at 12:17 to ask if we could postpone the date until 24th March. I also mailed the establishment just to be sure that someone gets back to me. Had it not been possible, I would've packed up and left around 14:00 from Beaufort West. Nobody rep**** until after 17:00 when I received sms confirming that I will indeed be at Man Heim and thats when i called immediately to see what can be done as it was too late to drive to Kimberley with a young child, 2 cats and a parrot. Jose said mail was received and forwarded to man heim but no explanation as to why wasnt followed up. Man heim said for 5 hours she was unable to attend to mails after first denying ever receiving such a mail. Driving under very stressful conditions now without astop overmy cats hungry and dehydrated. R750 will not be paid back asnobody takes the blame and consequently cant spend more money on accommodation as this just doesnt feel right. Never was the intention to cancel but only to enquire before 14:00 of possibility to move the booking and got so busy that i didnt think the job to follow up and phone was left to me entirely. so totak
