Dubble booking

I booked accommodation through lekkerslaap last year in September already for accommodation in Pietermaritzburg for the Comerades and payed in full. Two weeks ago I confirmed and they said everything was fine and our booking is confirmed. Monday 28 May they phoned me to say there was a dubble booking and they will look for another place for me to stay. First of all way do they tell me to find another accommodation if we booked and payed almost a year ago way not the other people that they dubble booked as with? Nevertheless so they found us another place to stay just to inform us today (31 May) that they dubble booked us again and now they can find us accommodation 40km out of Pietermaritzburg. If this is how they do business I will never again do business again. So disappointing!!!!!
