Disappointing Experience and Unfair Refund
I recently made a booking for a holiday accommodation and had a very frustrating experience. I confirmed my booking and paid the deposit of R4900 on a Saturday morning. By Wednesday, I received the terms and conditions and the agreement, but I hadn’t signed it yet. Within a few days, I decided to cancel, which all happened within a week of the initial booking.
To my surprise, I was refunded only R1200 of my original deposit, which I feel is a huge rip-off. Given that I cancelled so quickly and well in advance of the booking date, the refund policy seems incredibly unfair. I was expecting a much larger refund, especially since it was within such a short timeframe. I wouldn't recommend this place based on how they handle cancellations and refunds.
