Untrained/Untruthful Sales Staff Leisure Porfolio Association (LPA)

As a previous RCI member, I only had one concern and after asking the salesman the question, I was told if I became a member, I could rest assured that if I wanted to book at any of their affiliated resorts and there was availability, I would not be declined due to point system limits. Well, as soon as my membership was activated I put it to the test, and low and behold, there was no availabity at the resort I wanted, but if I contacted the resort directly, there was ample space, as long as I booked 'oitside' the membership system. I immediately cancelled my membership as it was within the 5 days cooling off period and Nicholas informed me that the 5 day cancellation is being processed as well as my refund. But lo and behold...... they are still sending me copies of contracts, welcoming letters and more information. I enquired about my cancellation and Nicholas reported that it had now been referred to the Sales Desk for further assistance. Not only did the sales people lie, but as quickly as they took my money they are now delaying as much as they possibly can. BE WARNED PEOPLE.
