LPA - Do not touch
Beware, LPA consultants promise you the world but give you nothing. Once you have signed up you are caught. I have tried to exchange, after more than 6 months still waiting. I have asked for a statement nearly a month ago, still waiting. I have tried to sell and now that they won't help even though we were told at the time if we want to sell that will facilitate the sell. You can talk and talk and nothing happens. Do not get caught like us, stay way from LPA

19 Dec 2019, 09:59Good day, Mrs. Bothma
As discussed, I have sent an e-mail to you confirming that the statement will be amended in Jan. 2020 to reflect a zero balance because you paid up on your lease ahead of time. DAE will be assisting with the international booking. Thank you.
Kind regards,

19 Dec 2019, 10:11Thank you for the response. Firstly I am shocked that LPA management did not respond and phone me, they left the issue up to a call centre staff member who to date has not been able to do anything as it is not within her authority.
The statement issue is not resolved, I paid the amount on the 28th November 2019 as the monies were due by the 30 November 2019 however the payment will only reflect in January. How does LPA books work, takes more than a month to reflect??
The selling of my timeshare was not resolved.
The international swop is not resolved, I have been asking for about 7 months now and all that has happened is that I have been asked to give the dates again.
Let this be a lesson for people, do not sign up with LPA. Unfortunately I did not do the sums properly. You pay for 2019 over R5000 for a week self catering accommodation, this increases annually with anything up to 10%. You also pay a lump sum of over R60 000 or pay off over 15 years with annual increases. Look at what self catering accommodation is out of season and you will work out that this is a *******. Please note I took one of the cheaper options and not the more expensive options.

You have misunderstood the product you your husband has signed for. Someone senior will contact you to try explain the product in detail so you understand why your husbands statement is reflecting a credit, and where in the contract the annual increases are stipulated.
Regards
