Do not be conned! I am new to LPA not even three months and are greatly disappointed. The sales talk promised the following: • Cheaper all round • More variety in bookings and more availability • Can bank the points for longer • The perception was created that I will get more points once banked. All of the above is false. I have been a member of QVC and could book 5 3-night weekends per year with my allocated points with no charge and banking of points was easy. The difficulty I had was to get weekends on short notice in specific areas. QVC is better and cheaper than LPA. Currently on LPA I cannot get any bookings for the year. I need to pay for every booking if I do get a booking and my five 3-night weekend are reduced to a maybe two weekend stay.
