Cancellation Refused

I am a mother of 4 who’s financial situation has drastically changed due to circumstances beyond my control. I have twin girls who are supposed to go to school and I can’t even afford to do that month end as their father does not have an income. I’m basically the bread winner at this stage. I’ve called LPA several times to have the contract cancelled, because ever since I’ve signed up with them I could not even afford to redeem the “free” accommodation voucher that was offered. What upsets me the most is that the agent that sold this to me told me that I can cancel at anytime without any trouble.

I’m now referred to fine prints of the contract which requires me to serve a six moth notice or pay once off R4 818.00 to cancel the subscription – I’ve already paid them R4,414 and it is unfortunate that I’ve not benefited from their services as I can’t afford it. How do I continue to pay for holiday subscriptions if I can’t even afford my children’s education and put food on the table?
