Association fee is payable before they tell you

When I bought a unit last year I was told that Association Fees are payable three months prior occupation. My units occupation date is in November with the result that I presumed 11-3=8 and paid my fees by credit card on 28 August 2015. The amount I paid was credited to my account only on 4 September 2015 and on the same date an invoice (569 dd 04/09/15) for collection was raised. <br> <br> I now found that the contract was written that the fees are due on 1 July which in my book is more than 3 months prior to occupation in November. The sales agent should have told me in stead of just sneaking it into the contract. <br> <br> It is sad that sales persons do not give one the full picture and then the supplier hides behind the excuse that \it is in the contract which you signed". The whole transaction was riddled with half truths. Hopefully this is the last one. I will NEVER recommend Leisure Portfolio Association to anybody.<br> """
