Gys, I am really surprised to see you wrote a negative review about Leisure Marine. Yes, there was some confusion when you came in the morning with regards to the price and the salesperson had made a mistake. We had a long chat on the phone about this and I must be honest I thought we had “cleared the air” about the situation. I was so convinced that we were on the “same page” that you even called me later that afternoon and set up a meeting with me to view the boat again. Not long after you called to set up the meeting, you arrived back at Leisure Marine and you, another salesperson who is very knowledgeable about Bass boats and I spent time going over the boat in detail. While we were chatting, you confirmed that you liked the boat, we agreed on the figures and you wanted to “go for it”. However, you mentioned that you could not afford the boat in full now, but were expecting some more money to come in, in the New Year. We recommended to you to sign an order on the boat, pay a small deposit and once this was done Leisure Marine would hold the boat for you until you received the balance of your money in the New Year. You agreed to this suggestion. The order form was made out for the boat. We all shook hands, had a laugh and on departing you said you would do the transfer for the deposit that evening. Unfortunately, that was the last we heard from you. In closing, Leisure Marine hopes that you have found a boat and if so, we wish you good luck and safe boating. It is our sincere wish after over 30 years in business that you can be another one of our happy clients in the future.
