No generator for load shedding, waste of money

Reception is only operational from 7am until 5pm so if you have an issue, you must deal with it on your own. We booked in on Monday 4 July at just before 5pm. Load shedding happened from 6pm until past 8pm. Seeing that we paid to be at the hotel, we expected that they would have generators as we are paying for a service that we clearly did not get. Load shedding was again from 00:00 until past 2am, we went to sleep with the electricity off again. Load shedding was again from 8am until 10am which we booked out before 10am. We had to pay R60 extra for wifi that we didn't even use because it switched off as soon as it was load shedding. Why offer a service if you do not have generators? What was the point of us going to your hotel if we were in the dark with nothing to do? There were no 2 point plugs and no hair dryer. The place is in such an ugly condition. It's winter and load shedding but there was only 1 blanket on each bed that was 2 single beds pushed together. So my husband and I paid for us to be there, awake for about 2 hours with electricity. Pathetic service. You will NEVER see us again and be sure that no one else that we know will come there. Horrible experience.
