Poor Customer service - wont be returning to the Protea Glen legit store

2. Poor customer service

I would like to share the appalling and rude service I received from a staff at Legit Store - Protea Glen (SOWETO) and the staff member's name is Mapule Thekiso incident date 4 July 2021.

I just walked in the store headed to the Jeans section and the just seconds being there the lady from nowhere uttered rudely ‘ungamoshi meaning do not destroy’ referring to the jeans stacked by size order and I was standing next to them looking at sizes. Only after that attack she greeted me and advised what size was I looking for? I asked her if this is how she always talk to the customers and she insisted that ‘yesterday a customer messed up the jeans and that she was the to ensure that the jeans are still in order’ – and I told her that customers are not the same and she must treat each one with much respect. Her approach even if she was explaining she didn’t seem bothered or any remorse for what she said or how she said it. I advised her further that ‘customer is different and should be treated differently ’.

It was a bitter taste of customer service experience and since it was my first-time shopping at Legit store -protea glen, I will never set my foot there again. I believe she is the floor assistant (or consultant) and her rudeness shows that she is used to talking to customer’s in that manner & she is not friendly at all. I left the store feeling insulted and not happy.
