poor and ineffective customer care at legit groblersdal mall

On Saturday 15/7/2023 I went to LEGIT in groblersdal mall looking to exchange few clothes that I bought at the store because they were small sizes. I got in and i looked for the bigger sizes for the same outfits and couldn't get any so I then requested for a refund. The cashiers told me they have already cashed up but that was still before they closed the store for the day. I was immediately told to call head office because they will not assist although I got in before they closed and they helped me look for the bigger sizes and we couldn't get. So now I'm here sitting with outfits that don't fit and I was told I have to drive to a different store in siyabuswa to get an exchange or refund which I am puzzled why would i drive to a different area while they (groblersdal?) are the store close to me. What a poor inefficient and ineffective way of running a retail shop, so unprofessional and inconsiderate of the cost (travelling and time) borne by the client, I am extremely disappointed in the store processes of managing their day to day activities, how do you cash up with clients still in your store? did they consider the possibility of a refund or they only consider a purchase or an exchange only while i was shopping on the day? clearly not.
