Missing price ticket

I bought some clothes as a gift for a friend a few days ago but she didnt like 2 of the items. I wanted to return them but I just noticed that there's no price ticket??? I know that I didn't remove the price ticket, so I must've bought it like that without realising. But now im wondering how they scanned my items without a price ticket? I still have the receipt and the clothes are unworn. Im very confused and wondering if they were removed it without me noticing. Now im stuck with unwanted clothes
