Bad quality & service

I have usually in the past had great shopping experiences at the N1 City branch, the team is always super friendly. Recently went in to try and return a pair of shoes that started breaking after wearing for only a little over a month, and it's not even a pair of shoes I wear every day. I was first told I could exchange for another pair, then when I stated that I would prefer for the account to be credited, the area manager then said that I could not return at all. So dissapointed that I paid for something that I could only get a little over 1 month of wear from it. Other retailers have no problem in returning something that is clearly bad quality. I have even gone to Jet to return school shoes purchased, that started breaking after 1 month of wear, and this happened twice, they assisted me both times, and the second time credited the account, as the quality was a issue. And this is within the same retail group. Also the back of Legits slip states that you can return a faulty product within 3 months, as long as it was used as intended. So the pair of shoes was used as intended, and now I can't even return at all, I would have settled to exch for another pair. Extremely dissatisfied in the level of service!!
