Affidavit for Expired Lay-Bye Refund/Voucher

I DO NOT recommend anyone shop at LEGIT. The level of customer service is honestly pathetic and the way they treat customers is beyond disappointing. Yesterday, I went to one of their stores to collect my Lay-Bye, only to be told that it had apparently expired. The biggest problem? I was never contacted, called, SMSed or notified in any way that my Lay-Bye was about to expire.

I then asked for a refund or even a voucher so I could purchase something else and instead I was told that I must go to the Police Station and make an affidavit before they can assist me.

Seriously? 🤦🏽♂️ A customer who was never notified about the expiry must now run around making affidavits just to get their own money or a voucher? This is not customer service. This is making the customer suffer for something they were never informed about.

The inconvenience, the lack of communication and the attitude I experienced have completely put me off this store.

I will NEVER in my life buy anything from LEGIT again. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. They have officially lost me as a customer and I certainly won't be recommending them to anyone.

If this is how LEGIT treats its customers, then they seriously need to rethink their approach to customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.
