Legends Restaurant Sun City

Title: Disappointing Food and Service at Legends Restaurant (Sun City Hotel) – Paid but Left Without Eating

We visited Legends Restaurant at Sun City Hotel over the weekend to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a ribeye on the bone and specifically requested that it be well done for health reasons. The steak arrived rare. I politely asked the waiter to have it corrected, but it was returned on a hot plate and was still raw on the inside (it appeared to be the same steak). My partner ordered a chicken salad, and the crouton was stale and old, which was also unacceptable. When I raised the issue again, the waiter responded with a smirk, which was unprofessional and disrespectful. I then asked to speak to the manager. After waiting, the manager came, but the matter was still not handled professionally. Because of the poor food quality and poor service, we did not eat and decided to leave. Despite this, we still paid the full bill of R654.50. This was especially upsetting as it was a birthday outing. We have also had a previous bad experience at this restaurant some years ago, so we were already being careful with what we ordered. I am posting this in the hope that management takes this seriously. The service and food in the restaurant effect my re-visiting Sun city as there are not very many options to eat there. Perhaps this is the reason for the level of arrogance.
