USELESS LEGAL SERVICES EVER!!!

My car was involved in an accident (while driven by someone else), and the insurer rejected my claim citing reasons which were very weak. I asked Legalwise for assistance in ensuring that the claim was paid, they assisted me to file the case at Ombudsman... The Ombudsman found the case to be relatively difficult to adjudicate but unfortunately could not overturn the decision of the insurer. I still felt that the case was weak as Legalwise lawyer also agreed while assisting that the case could be easily overturned in court. Further, I asked them to represent me, and they hired a lawyer who seemed to have no clue of what the merits of the case were, nor did they seem as though they knew what he was doing after the one consultation I had with him. He informed that he would get Legalwise to approve the claim for to proceed and then serve the insurer. About a month or so later I followed up with him after getting no feedback from him or Legalwise, and he informed me that I should speak to Legalwise as they have repudiated the claim. I called Legalwise and sent several emails, and only 3 weeks later they emailed me the letter of repudiation and informed me if I want to appeal I must do it in writing. I had spoken to a lawyer (one of the good ones), and he informed me that from the merits of the case, it could be won in court. I then provided Legalwise with a letter requesting that we should proceed with the matter, and 3 months later I have not received any response/feedback and yet my claim is not been paid by the insurer.

Legalwise sells us 'pipe dreams' as having protection, and yet none of the services they have rendered have actually added any value to me, and yet they keep collecting my platinum premiums and their rates keep increasing each year. I am very critical of this behaviour, it's incompetence, and should not be tolerated.

I hope they will come back to me with something concrete as I want my own lawyer to handle this matter going forward.
