SERVICE IS NOT UP TO STANDAARD
Good day

I have taken out legal representation from Legal Wise. When a car I sold was not un the new owners name I contacted them to help in this regard.

I have sold a car in November 2013. As the vehicle was still in my name traffic fines and the penelties on the lisencing I was supposed to pay so I contacted Legal Wise to help in this regard as I cannot be held responsible for monies owing if the car was already sold. Constantly i would e-mail the respresentative and keep on asking what is going on with this case.

Anyway I contacted Legal Wise and after a month they come back to me telling me they cant take my case as my policy has \lappsed"? I have a debit order with Legal wise and if they cant take the money this month they take it double the next month.

So basically i was still under the impression that i was covered. Imagine the shock of now not being covered by Legal Wise. According to them this \""lappsed\"" in the insured time happened in May and now I cannot be helped as i was not insured in that time

The service I was getting is really pathetic. Couldnt they atleast send me a letter stating that my contract is now nul and void? But they keep deducting money"""
We acknowledge receipt of your complaint under reference number 10534.
Your policy lapses after 3 months of non-payment and we confirm that yours did indeed lapse after the debits from December until February bounced. You changed the account details from one bank to another in the fourth month. This imp**** that we could not double debit an account which was no longer in use.
We trust that this clarifies matters.
