Satisfied with Khanyi Gamede work ethic

I have been having a court case with the financial institution which financed my car, i.e. Wesbank. This battle started in Jan 2017 as they said they sent summons to me. For some reason I did not receive the summons. The only thing that made me aware that something is happening is when I found a note from the sheriff of the court at my gate.

When I called, I was told that I need to handover my vehicle unless I settle the entire outstanding amount which was more than R180 000. I declined to do this so Wesbank started to involve their lawyers. After numerous phone calls and emails between me and them, all because I was declining their demand of handing over the vehicle, Wesbank legal representative advised me to get myself a lawyer. Luckily, my wife is the member of Legalwise.

Legalwise in Centurion assigned Khanyisile Patricia Gamede who is a Policy Liaison Officer. She set me down and listened to me when I was explaining all the processes that will be followed based on different outcome scenarios. She started the negotiations with them in July 2017. These negotiations went on for about 4.5 months. All this time, Khanyi was professional and precise throughout. She showed that she is a matter expert in legal matters.

In Jan, she managed to get Wesbank to agree to our original proposal which was the for Wesbank to rescind the judgement then draft a new contract between me & them.

As much as she was doing her job, but I believe the commitment that Khanyi app**** to this case from the start to finish is what separate a job and a passion. All in all, I appreciate the way she handled my case.

In ending, I summed up this story as it was going to be very long as the battle took the entire year.
