Pensioner not getting any assistance when needed.

Not impressed with the level of service been provided by Legal wise to my father who is a pensioner. The issue started when my father bought a double cab bakkie/Van after retirement on 27/06/2019 and the van had a list of mechanical issues that the dealership failed to resolve and both parties agreed to terminate the contract, car was returned on the 09/08/2019 and the dealership then promised to refund my father on or before 16/11/2019 which to date my father has not received. (Carwitch Auto in BFN). My father then turned to LegalWise as a loyal member (***) to seek legal advise. They then appointed Lovius Block attorneys to represent my father in this matter but all my father has been getting is nothing but empty promises and unanswered calls from the attorneys which adds on the frustration and negatively impacts his health. Numerous visits to the office's of both Legal Wise and Lovius Block have produced no fruits as we don't know what is happening with the case. Whenever my father manages to visit the attorneys he is told to wait for a call for an update and the same story is given by Legal Wise. My father has been waiting for that call prior to Lockdown. In November the matter would have been going on for a year. He has been a loyal Legal wise member for several years but when it is time for the policy to pay out as promised there is no service delivery.

The expectation is for Legal wise to follow up with the attorney which they appointed and give us an update as to when the funds will be refunded. If the case is not that simple to state when we are to attend court as the car dealership owner keeps changing premises and we fear he will change province or even skip the country. Failing which they are to appoint a new law firm as we cannot wait anylonger for this matter to be resolved.
