NO HELP AT ALL

I am a Legal Wise client, I logged a complaint with legal wise about my landlord who made alterations to my cottage by connecting another cottage to my cottage, without informing me or giving me a notice. The alterations resulted in bedrooms 1 window being permanently closed (without a window, sunshine or air coming to the room) and bedroom 2 window had to be moved from one side to the other side which resulted in my place, furniture and clothes having dusts and being dirty. After few days of alterations it rained inside my house and my furniture was rained. It was on the 7th of November 2016, I then gave the landlord a written notice that I will be moving at the end of November 2016, since the place is longer in the condition I have signed for and my furniture is being rained. The landlord refused the notice saying it is too late, I went to Randburg Legal Wise offices to report the case and the case was handled by Sidwell Februarie the legal counselor, who promised to call the landlord immediately, which he never did, on the 8th at night the landlord handed me with the letter from the housing stating that I did not give a reasonable notice. On the 9th I took the letter to legalwise (Sidwell), who informed me that he did not called the landlord as promised and they is no legal recourse for my case and advised that I can move out since I am not happy and hope and pray that I get my deposit back. Why must I hope and pray for my deposit to be paid when I am paying legal wise monthly. Firstly the landlord is at breach by making alterations without informing me, and making the place to be no longer desirable as I have signed for it and the damaged it caused on my furniture. The advice I get from Legalwise is to hope and pray that I get my deposit. On the 30 November 2016 I moved out, legalwise was communicating with the landlord about returning my deposit ( R5500) after they have found the person to occupy the place I was renting, I gave legal wise my banking details to give to my landlord to return my deposit. I contacted Legalwise about my deposit and they informed me that the landlord told them that no person had moved in. I personally went to the place and found out that the place has been occupied since the 1 December 2016. I then inform legalwise and I was informed that the landlord is denying that the place is being occupied. I have not received my deposit as at 28 December 2016, I did not received any help from legalwise, they are useless, I went to confirm that the place is occupied by myself, I did not received any help, my furniture is damaged from the alterations and nothing was done, the landlord was in breach of the contract but legalwise could not help me, they even failed to collect my deposit. Why do I pay the said amount every month but when I need them Legal Wise do not want to assist me. All I was asking is at least for legalwise get my deposit since they couldn’t help me even that they have failed to do.
