Legalwise useless in legal services

I recently requested Legalwise to assist with a problem. An existing issue before we joined - but we were handling it on our own (meaning we kept engaging with the specific service to deliver on the goods and services or repay the money). Thought to ask Legalwise to assist as legal assistance might be more efficient. So because the amount involved was under R10k we were assigned a paralegal, which is fine. We were told this before hand. The paralegal drafted one letter of demand, attached all the documents I prepared and sent that off to the service provider that we were having issues with. After about a month, the paralegal informed me that they have not received any response from the service provider (after the one and only email was sent) and I should take the letter of demand and go to small claims court. I mean, I could have gone to small claims court without the letter of demand and without wasting a whole month on . What a joke thinking that legalwise could be of any assistance. We are on the exact same place we were before contacting legalwise. This level of service should have been explained to us before we involved legalwise so that we have a option to choose whether or not to waist our time waiting on someone to send ONE letter of demand through ONE email. Waiting a month and then saying that the ONE email did not work. And when we enquired ONCE on the status of the case during that one month - Legalwise responded saying that they do not owe us daily updates...even though we enquired ONCE during the month waiting period, without ever mentioning that we want a daily update. This was captured luckily in emails and not on phone calls. Definitely cancelling our plan!
