LEGALWISE IS THE WORST LEGAL SERVICES PROVIDER

I have a platinum account where I now pay R350 monthly which include teacher cover. I joined in 2006. I have since experienced a labour issue at work. However, instead of assigning an attorney to attend to my case, they said they're investigating my account.

They told me they found that I defaulted in my payments a decade ago. I asked them to give me the outcome of the investigation in writing.

The letter I received made a sudden detour. Instead, the reason for not receiving cover was now that my employer indicated to them that I won't win the case, hence I don't qualify for an attorney.

1) I never defaulted. I paid through cash instead of stop order. And they did cover me during that time. Even if I had defaulted 10 years ago, how does that affect my current case. What's the waiting period for cover? Then it would mean I'll never get cover because they'll always investigate what happened since the inception of the account.

2) I asked for the ombudsman contact details. It's now 2 months since they'll refer me. No more correspondence except the one informing me of a missed August premium.

3) The case they're refusing to cover, is the same case they had been working on for the past 6 months through their consultants. Now, it's time to go to the labour court. I suddenly no longer qualify for cover.

4) How do they get advise from my employer without my knowledge? And why would my cover depend on what my opponent say about the case between us?

That's one of the worst services ever given by a private company.
