False advertising.

I am a member of Legalwise and I am not happy with the service I have received thus far. I was involved in an accident in July 2016 and the driver of the vehicle who was at fault accepted responsibility.

What had happened was I was on the main road in st James Southern suburbs (Cape Town). There was a car parked on the left side on the road. But the car was parked slightly on the road. So as I was passing by the passenger on the right rear opened the door without looking and the door hit the left mirror of my car completely off. The passengers walked away and I was left with the driver of the vehicle to assess the damage

We went to the nearest police station and I wrote a statement of which the driver of the other vehicle concurred with what was written in the statement. We were both given a copy of the accident report. Now the vehicle that crashed into me is or was used as a Uber taxi so the guy who was driving was just an employee of someone. Later that week I called the owner to ask him when is he planning to pay for the damages that were sustained by my vehicle. The owner told me that I must consult with my insurance cause is not gonna pay for the damages.

I called Legalwise to ask for some advice on how to handle this issue. They told me that I have a strong case and they are willing to represent me. I was appointed an attorney by the name of Andrea Arenz on the 15th of August 2016. She told me that I must get three quotes from three different panel beaters for claiming purposes and I must email her that information plus the accident report as soon as possible. After she receiving the information she told me that she was gonna write a letter of demand to the accuser stating that he must pay for the damages. She told me that the accuser must respond within two weeks or 14 days of receiving the letter so I must wait till then. So I waited for her call after two weeks to give me feedback regarding my matter she never called. I tried to call her with no response. I emailed her and she never responded to my emails. Only after a month, she contacted me telling me that she wasn't in the office and I must bear with her. So I asked if she has drafted that letter yet , her answer was not yet. Meaning she **** about giving the accuser a letter of demand.

I wrote a letter of complaint to Legalwise customer care about the service I have received from the attorney that was appointed to me . My complaint was attended to within three days. And I was appointed another attorney. I must give credit where credit is due the customer care depart at Legalwise are doing a great job Connie Serekoeng was the person who was assisting me in that regard. Anyway, the new attorney tells me the same words as her predecessor. Instead of writing the letter of demand she tells me that I must get the details of the passenger who opened the door on the night of the accident. It's been four months now and I have been taken from pillar to post with on positive outcome. Not only that but the amount of time I have wasted during this whole ordeal.

I upset because who do turn to if your legal service fails you in this manner.
