COVID-19 Premium Waiver*

Everything below applies to those that are employed. For us who have been unemployed but up to date with payments we are not included since we cannot provide a letter from the employer. We pay through rent income of which we will not receive during lockdown. For me this is pure **************. This is LegalWise at its best. FROM LEGALWISE BELOW: We’re introducing a COVID-19 Premium Waiver*. If you’re unable to pay your monthly premium as a result of being temporarily laid-off due to the temporary closure of your employer’s business or are on unpaid leave because of the nationwide lockdown, apply and we’ll treat your Membership as paid up for 1 month. To qualify for the COVID-19 Premium Waiver you need to have paid 3 or more premiums, provide us with a stamped letter from your employer stating that you have been temporarily laid-off or are on unpaid leave and the duration thereof, as well as a copy of your ID. Remember our Temporary Disablement and Retrenchment Benefit* that forms part of your LegalWise Membership. If you have been retrenched, apply and we’ll treat your Membership as paid up for 6 months.

To qualify for the Temporary Disablement and Retrenchment Benefit you need a 12 month period of continuous paid up Membership, provide us with a stamped letter from your employer stating that you have been retrenched, as well as a copy of your ID.
