Case dragging from 2017, still not resolved.
POLICY NO. ***, CLAIM NUMBER: PLC793614
Any feedback on my case so far? I was advise for few weeks wait in November 2019 for another assessment. How long should I wait? What's the way forward?
BACKGROUND: I've bought a car from Levi Auto and a car gave me problems withing two weeks (cracked gearbox, leaking transmission fuel, missing bulb, evidence of paint work in the car, etc). Thubelihle (your lawyer) did the correspondence with the dealer to which I indicated I want them to change the car.
I was referred to Marais & Parson Attorneys in Kempton Park, which they asked me to get a report from RMI approved workshop - which I did. Now, after after Marais&Parson Attorney remained silent for close to 6 month while I am awaiting for court date from them, they conveniently advise my case lacks prospect of success in court, twisting every word I have wrote on the report to be in favor of the dealer.
I objected, and LegalWise referred me to Metele Nsibanyoni, and you advised me about 3 - 8 weeks before you get back to me.
I was then advised to wait further.
CURRENT SITUATION: The car is not drivable, and the suspension has developed a crack, and this requires (as per Major 2 Autobody Repairs), the whole engine to be taken out, cut the front of car between the front wheels towards to front, and replace it with the new one.
While this case was opened in July 2017and still no resolution even as of 04/11/2019, I am currently sitting with the car that is not drivable, yet paying premiums to ABSA bank for its finance.
MY CASE: The dealer sold me a bad car that was involved in an accident, and they never declared this, and so the car did not last even for 2 weeks.
All I am asking for is nothing but justice - is that too much to ask?
