Pathetic Legal Aid

Legal Aids Simphiwe Gazo was appointed by the Chatsworth Children's Court in April 2024 to represent the minor child. He did not attend any court dates, didn't make any contact with the minor child nor did he inform the court of any changes. When I called the head of Legal Aid Pinetown Vish Nair, who to date has not taken my calls because all I got was his voicemail. It was clear he got my messages because Mr Gazo suddenly came out of hiding. Legal Aid took it upon themselves to ignore the court and the minor child and represent the respondent, the mother in the case with another Legal Aid attorney, a Mr Macvicar.This was after the court decision to appoint Mr Gazo for the minor child. Legal Aid referred the minor child (without notifying anyone) to a 3rd party attorney, who has, to date not contacted the court nor the minor child. When questioned about this, Mr Gazo's response via text was that he was not authorized to talk to me and then proceeded to block my number. Suffice to say Vish Nair has not taken my calls and nor has the the 3rd party attorney made any contact. If this is who Legal Aid have employed, then the public need to ge very afraid. Pathetic is too soft a word for these waste of good air zombies that call themselves Legal Aid
