Legal Aid work ethic is complete and utter *******!

Our case that was handed over to legal aid three years ago has still not been solved. We were supposee to claim our deceased mother's estate from FNB through the assistance of Legal Aid a long time ago but when it finally seemed like our case had fallen into the hands of someone who could help us, that someone has now gone AWOL on us.

Ms Bacela from the Mthatha Branch in Eastern cape seemed like she was really keen on helping us with our case and though we like how attentive and helpful she has been but now she has suddenly gone cold. We sent her all the relevant documentation and she said she was waiting for proof of payment from FNB and that was a month ago and now she's become unreachable. No one answers the phone at Legal Aid and when they do, she is almost never available. We dont know what we have to do in order for them to just pay out the money so we never have to deal with these people ever again. I dont want to speak ill of anyone because i dont know their circumstances but i dont think there's anything wrong with keeping people in the loop about whats going on with their affairs. Why do they find it so hard to do this? Absolutely unnacceptable!
